Moved On.

Proverbs 24:16 “For though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, but the wicked are brought down by calamity.”

No matter what happened in the past, no matter how great your mistakes are, no matter how many times you failed God, always remember that you can go back to Him and start all over again. This verse is God’s way of saying, ‘Moved on my son, my daughter. We can start all over again. I AM a God of second chances.’

But this doesn’t gives us a license to keep on repeating the same mistakes all over again. Moving on means learning from our past mistakes and start walking with God again to where He wants us to go.

Change Has Come

The year 2014 was a tough year for me. A lot of changes happened. Indeed change has come. But it wasn’t the change I was expecting. It took me a year and a half to accept those changes in my life. And I realized that God is actually taking me deeper into Him. God is actually taking me to the next level. Just as He said in John 15:2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. God took away so many things in my life and it hurts as if I can’t live without those things. But just as God said that He wants me to bear more fruit, surrendering everything to Him is the best decision.

God took away almost everything from me just for me to realize that He is the only One that matters most. God is more than enough. I can live without those things knowing that my God is enough for me.

Jesus as Living Water

Have you been longing for something?..It may be longing for love, acceptance, significance, value..i dont know about you but that’s who I was before I became a christian,..a broken person looking for love in this broken world.

As I look for these things in this world, it definitely didn’t satisy me. It didn’t quench my thirst for love and value. I’m still incomplete. But the good news is, Jesus came. He came so we will not be thirsty again. He came not to condemn us and hate us but to pour out His love for us. He came to complete those longings and emptiness in your heart. For He knew that we can only find these things in Him ALONE.

Jesus came just for you. This is how loved, precious and important you are. A King who is willing to give up His throne in heaven just to be one of us. A King who came down here on earth and died for you. A King who is willing to give up His own life just to be with you. This is TRUE love. The love that Jesus offers. Accept it and you will not be thirsty again.

Jesus As Living Water

John 4:13-14 “13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. …”

You’re more than enough.

Psalm 73:25 “Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you.”

Insecurities happen when we desire something else rather than God. We desire success, position, material things, fame, love from other people, etc. But the reality is you can’t always have everything. Everything in this world will perish. They will all fail. Earthly things cannot give you the things you’re looking for like love, joy, acceptance, security, etc. I believe this is God’s word for you. To desire Him alone. If you desire Him you’ll not be disappointed. God never changes. He remains the same today and forever. For He is everything you’ll need. And He’s more than enough for us.

Heart like a warrior

Luke 13:24

“Make EVERY EFFORT to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.”

As a christian, God did not promise us to have a storm- free life but a storm- proof life. There will always be suffering and problems. But He also did promise us that whatever we will go through, He will never leave us nor forsake us. That we are already victorious. It’s the Lord’s battle, not ours. It is God who will fight for us. We just have to stand firm and be in faith. Endure everything. Fight a good fight faith. Have a heart like a warrior.

Exodus 14:14 “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

2 Timothy 2:3 “Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.”

Jesus felt it too.

Mark 8:2-3

“I have COMPASSION for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. If I send them home hungry, they will collapse on the way, because some of them have come a long distance.”

Compassion means suffering with. I may not know what you’re going through but God knows. God understands.

Knowing Jesus

Mark 6:53-56

53 When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret and anchored there. 54 As soon as they got out of the boat, PEOPLE RECOGNIZED JESUS. 55 They ran throughout that whole region and carried the sick on mats to wherever they heard he was.56 And wherever he went—into villages, towns or countryside—they placed the sick in the marketplaces. They begged him to let them touch even the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.

There are times that we worry too much about what’s happening in our lives. It’s funny how christians who knows God do the same. We worry about how we will meet our needs, how we can solve our problems. But only when we truly ACKNOWLEDGE , TRUST and KNOW God that the worries of life will be gone. That He is a God who is able, powerful, faithful, and trustworthy. A God who loves us and who will provide for us. A God who has a good, perfect and pleasing plans for us.

When the people in the verse RECOGNIZED JESUS, their faith and hope increased. That the people from every town and villages came running to Him for them to be healed. How great that faith is!
